Why we built AGICADE

A case for small, immediately playable worlds.

The appeal of an open tab

A browser game asks for remarkably little commitment. You open a page, learn a rule and see where it takes you. That makes room for experiments that would be difficult to justify as a large download: a fragile campfire, a frantic dinner service or an awkward delivery shared with a friend.

An arcade needs variety

Six games should offer six different reasons to stay. Survival trades comfort against preparation. Strategy trades growth against stability. Competitive action turns prediction into a short round. We chose a collection rather than one endlessly expanding project so each idea could retain its own scale and identity.

AI as part of the workshop

AI-assisted development can help turn a written rule into executable code quickly. Speed is useful only when the resulting game survives inspection. The real work includes finding unwinnable states, explaining controls and making sure restarting does not duplicate a timer.

What we chose to leave out

Accounts, online leaderboards and cloud saves are familiar platform features, but they do not make a first session enjoyable. AGICADE begins with the games themselves. A visitor should be able to judge the collection by playing, not by joining.
